What is a semi-custom costume?
Each JANE design begins with a carefully selected costume foundation that is transformed through hand-finished embellishments and thoughtful design details. This allows us to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind looks while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Are your costumes completely custom?
Yes. JANE specializes in semi-custom designs. Rather than creating costumes from scratch, we source them locally and we artistically transform them into unique designs with premium embellishments and finishing touches.
Can I request changes to a costume?
In many cases, yes! Depending on the design and where we are in the completion procees, we may be able to adjust colors and other elements. Some of these changes may be subject to additional fees.
Do you accept custom requests?
Yes! We love collaborating with dancers and studios to create unique semi-custom designs. Availability may vary depending on our schedule.
How do I choose the correct size?
Please refer to the sizing chart provided with each costume. If you're between sizes or have questions, we're happy to help you find the best fit.
Do you offer alterations?
At this time, we do not offer alterations. We recommend reviewing measurements carefully before purchasing.
How long does shipping take?
Ready-to-ship items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Semi-custom orders vary depending on the level of customization and current production schedule.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not at this time, but we hope to expand shipping in the future.
Can I rush my order?
Rush availability depends on our current production schedule. Please contact us before placing your order if you need a costume by a specific date.
How should I care for my costume?
To keep your costume looking its best:
Hand wash only if necessary.
Lay flat or hang to air dry.
Avoid excessive heat.
Store flat or on a padded hanger.
Handle embellishments with care.
Will rhinestones fall off?
Every embellishment is carefully applied by hand using professional techniques and high-quality materials. While costumes are designed for performance, occasional stone loss can happen with normal wear. We recommend handling your costume gently and storing it properly between performances.
Do you accept returns?
Because many of our designs are individually hand-finished or customized, all sales are final.
What if my costume arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can make it right. Tags must be intact.
